Industrial cutting machines for garment, uniform and technical textile factories

The cutting room decides how much fabric a factory wastes and how well the panels match at the sewing machine. For automatic cutting we supply FK Group cutters and spreaders. For hand cutting we supply Eastman straight-knife, round-knife and end cutters. For patterns and markers we supply Richpeace CAD and plotters, and for cutting from a file, GBOS and Richpeace laser cutters, across the UAE, the GCC and Africa.

We quote the whole line together in AED, with tables, delivery and installation, and reply within one working day.

What are you cutting?

Garment factory cutting rooms

Shirts, trousers, jeans, uniforms, knitwear and jackets cut from woven and knit fabric.

An automatic cutter follows the CAD marker through every ply, so the panels match at the sewing machine and less fabric goes to waste. An automatic spreader lays the plies at up to 100 m a minute, FK Group states, so the cutter is not left waiting for fabric.

Uniform, denim and technical fabric

Uniform twill, denim, canvas, coated fabric and webbing panels.

Heavy fabric drags on a small blade and a thick stack pushes the knife off line, so the panels at the bottom come out a different shape. An automatic cutter built for heavy lays keeps every ply to the marker, and a straight-knife cutter handles the shorter runs.

Curtain and blind workshops

Curtain panels, roller blinds and Roman blinds in wide fabric.

Wide fabric is hard to cut square by hand, and a crooked panel shows once it is hanging. An Eisenkolb table measures and cuts each panel, so the width and length are right first time.

Job

Automatic cutting and spreading: FK Group first

8 machines

An FK Group automatic cutter follows the CAD marker through every ply, so the panels match at the sewing machine and less fabric goes to waste. FK Group designs and builds its cutters and spreaders in Italy. FK Group cutting systems

Eastman straight-knife, round-knife and end cutters

10 machines

A hand cutter suits shorter runs and fabric that changes often, because the cutter needs no marker file and the operator follows the chalk line. A straight knife goes through a high stack, and a round knife suits a low one. Eastman cutting machines

CAD, markers and plotters

6 machines

CAD nests the pattern pieces on the fabric on screen, and a plotter prints the marker full size, so the cutter works from a plan that wastes less fabric. Richpeace CAD and plotters

Laser cutting, engraving and perforating

4 machines

A laser cuts and engraves from a digital file, so a new shape is a new file and not a new cutting die. Richpeace laser cutting

Automatic cutting for curtains and blinds

2 machines

These tables measure and cut wide curtain and blind fabric in one pass, so long panels come out square. Curtain and blind machines

Delivery, installation and service for cutting rooms

Buying the machines is the start. Our own technicians deliver them, set them up, train the people who run them and keep them running, from our offices in the UAE and Ghana.

5,000+factories supplied by Al Borj in the Middle East and Africa since 1987

  1. 01

    Line plan

Send us your products, fabrics and daily target, or ask us to visit. We choose the machines that take over the slowest, most operator-dependent jobs first, so no station holds up the next.

  2. 02

    Delivery to your factory

We ship from Sharjah across the UAE and the GCC and to Africa, with the machines, tables and stands quoted together.

  3. 03

    Installation and commissioning

Our technicians install and commission each machine, set it up for your fabric and thread and run it before handover, so the line starts on a machine that has been tested.

  4. 04

    Operator and mechanic training

Hands-on training on the panel for operators, and on daily care, timing and adjustment for your mechanics, so small faults are put right on the floor instead of waiting for a visit.

  5. 05

    Warranty and maintenance contracts

Jack machines from Al Borj carry a 2-year warranty and Juki machines a 1-year warranty, handled by our own service team. Annual maintenance contracts cover single machines or whole lines.

  6. 06

    Genuine parts, needles and thread

As the authorised distributor for every brand we represent, we supply genuine parts, Organ needles and Amann thread for the machines we sell.

Ask on WhatsApp

Which automatic cutting machines do you supply?

We lead with FK Group, which designs and builds its cutters and spreaders in Italy: the IRON Heavy for heavy lays, the IRON 30 and the Universal Cutting System for conveyor cutting, the Ultracut-ML for single ply and the UNICONT for spreading. Richpeace supplies the CAD and plotters, and GBOS and Richpeace the laser cutters.

Should I buy an automatic cutter or a hand cutter?

An automatic cutter pays when the same styles run in volume, because it follows the CAD marker through every ply, so the panels match and less fabric goes to waste. A hand cutter such as the Eastman Brute 627X or the Cardinal 567 suits shorter runs and fabric that changes often. Send us your fabric and your daily target and we tell you which fits.

How do CAD and an automatic cutter save fabric?

CAD nests the pattern pieces on the fabric on screen, and the cutter follows that plan through every ply, so the panels match at the sewing machine and less fabric goes to waste. Richpeace garment CAD has one module for design and grading and one for the marker, with automatic, manual, interactive and Supernest nesting.

Which laser cutting machine do I need?

It depends on the material and the job. The GBOS GH1610 cuts and engraves fabric, leather and synthetics from a PLT or DXF file on a 1600 × 1000 mm table. The GBOS GN1080CCD has a camera for embroidery patches and woven labels, and the GBOS XXP4-180 is a galvo laser for perforating and engraving leather. Richpeace also builds a CO2 laser family with table sizes from 900 × 600 to 1600 × 1000 mm. Send us a sample of your material and we test the cut.

Do you install cutting machines and train our people?

Yes. Our technicians install and commission each machine, set it up for your fabric, run it before handover and train your operators and mechanics.

Do you supply factories outside the UAE?

Yes. We deliver from Sharjah across the GCC and to Africa, with offices in the UAE and Ghana and a presence in Kenya. We have delivered machines and completed projects in over 48 countries across the Middle East and Africa.

What is the price of industrial cutting machines in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait or Qatar?

It depends on the machines, the quantity, the tables and where they are delivered. For a whole cutting room we quote all the machines together. Send your product, fabric and city on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form and we reply with the AED price and delivery time, usually within one working day.

What is the price of industrial cutting machines in Ghana, Kenya or Ethiopia?

It depends on the machines, the quantity and delivery to your city. Send us those on WhatsApp and we reply with one quotation in AED covering the machines, delivery to your factory and installation, usually within one working day.
