The Eastman EC-9N is a fully-automatic end cutting machine. Eastman lists it as the fully-automatic model in its end cutter range, above the manual EC-3N and the semi-automatic EC-6N. It runs along a track at the end of the cutting table and trims fabric plies to length in one pass. UAE garment and uniform factories use it to speed up spreading and cutting, and to keep ply ends square before the next cutting stage.
