Seiko builds heavy-duty industrial lockstitch machines in Japan

One specialisation, nothing else

Seiko states that Seiko Sewing Machine Co., Ltd. was founded in 1950 in Funabashi, Chiba, and that it has built industrial lockstitch machines in Japan since. The range is built for one job: sewing leather, heavy canvas, vinyl and coated technical materials. Seiko does not build domestic machines. Its flat-bed, post-bed, cylinder-bed and long-arm platforms are all variations on that one specialisation.

Why Al Borj put Seiko on the floor

Al Borj has been equipping textile and industrial factories across the UAE and the GCC since 1987. When our customers moved into automotive upholstery, marine canvas, heavy bags and technical outdoor goods, they needed machines built for thick and coated materials.
