These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain how Al Borj Machinery LLC ("Al Borj", "we", "us") supplies machines, spare parts, consumables and services to business customers. By requesting a quotation or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If anything is unclear, contact us before you order.
1. About us
Al Borj Machinery is an industrial machinery supplier established in 1987, based at Showroom #4, Al Borj Showrooms, Industrial Area 4, P.O. Box 28551, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. We are an authorised distributor for the brands we carry and we serve business customers across the UAE, the wider GCC, the Middle East and Africa.
2. Quotations and orders
This website is for business enquiries. We do not sell online and there is no online checkout or online payment. Prices are given by written quotation only. A quotation is an invitation to order; it is not a binding contract until we confirm your order in writing. Every quotation is valid for the period stated on it, or for 30 days if no period is stated. An order becomes binding when we send you an order confirmation or a proforma invoice.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are quoted in the currency shown on the quotation and, unless stated otherwise, do not include delivery, installation, taxes or duties. Payment terms are agreed in writing for each order. We may ask for full or partial payment before delivery. Goods remain the property of Al Borj until we have received full payment.
4. Delivery
We deliver across the UAE and to other countries by agreement. Delivery dates given in a quotation or order confirmation are estimates in good faith and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as shipping, customs or supplier delays.
5. Installation, training and support
Where agreed, we install the equipment and train your operators so production can start with confidence. The scope of installation and training is set out in your quotation or order confirmation. Our team stays available for operator questions, parts and service after delivery.
6. Warranty
Machines are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period and conditions are set by the manufacturer and are passed on to you. Warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use. It does not cover normal wear, consumables, incorrect use, unauthorised repair, or damage caused by poor power supply, water or the working environment. To make a warranty claim, contact us with your invoice and the machine details.
7. Spare parts
We supply genuine spare parts for the brands we carry. Availability and lead times are confirmed at the time of order.
8. Service and AMC contracts
We offer service visits and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC). An AMC covers scheduled maintenance and agreed support for a fixed yearly fee. The exact cover, response times and price are set out in a separate AMC agreement.
9. Returns
Because machines are supplied to order for business use, returns are accepted only where we agree in writing or where the law requires it. Special-order items and consumables are not returnable. Faulty goods are handled under the manufacturer's warranty (see section 6).
10. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Al Borj is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of production, profit or business. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Sharjah, UAE.
