Why the E5S as the neating machine?
The operator switches between a medium and a heavy setting, so the same machine takes knit fabric on one order and heavier cotton on the next. Its control works from 90 to 295 V, so it keeps running when the voltage drops or surges. Where seams cross thick joints all day, step up to the C7 Urus.
What is a neating machine?
It is an overlock. It trims the raw edge and wraps it in thread in one pass, so the edge stops fraying.
Which Jack models do you supply now?
The F6 replaces the Jack F5, the A5E-B AMH2 is the current A5E model, and the E5S replaces the Jack E4 neating machine.
What if the voltage at our factory is not steady?
For the lockstitch, the F6 and A2C work from 110 to 295 V on the 220 V version. For the overlock, the E5S works from 90 to 295 V. For very poor supplies, add a stabiliser.
