Why the MO-6814S as the neating machine?
Its second needle runs 2.0 mm inside the first and adds a second row, so it sews and neatens a knit seam in one pass at up to 7,000 spm. A needle cooler and thread heat remover are standard, for polyester sportswear at speed. For woven seams that take strain, such as trousers and uniforms, use the MO-6816S; see which Juki overlock.
What is a neating machine?
It is an overlock. It trims the raw edge and wraps it in thread in one pass, so the edge stops fraying.
What if the voltage at our factory is not steady?
Juki builds the DDL-7000A for single-phase 220-240 V or 3-phase 200-240 V, so tell us your supply and we order the matching version. Where the supply drops or surges, add a stabiliser.
