What it is
A computer-controlled lockstitch bartacker with a 550 W direct-drive servo motor, a stepping-motor auto-lifter, Juki's electronic active tension, a dry head, a green LED marking light, and the control box and LCD panel built into the machine head.
Who it's for
Jeans, trouser, uniform, workwear and lingerie factories in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC, and in Ghana, Kenya and Ethiopia.
Why this model
Choose it when a line needs strong, repeatable bartacks on belt loops, pockets and flies. Order the type for the fabric: CS for medium-weight fabric, CH for heavy fabric, CF for foundation garments or CW with a 1.8-fold capacity hook. It replaces the Juki LK-1900BN.

What the LK-1900C does on a factory floor
3,300 stitches a minute
A shorter cycle on every bartack
Juki rates the LK-1900C at 3,300 stitches a minute (3,000 on the CW type) and has made thread trimming faster to cut the total cycle time. Juki states a new, more rigid drive mechanism and a revised lubrication system allow the higher speed.
On the factory floorThe head runs faster and trims sooner, so each bartack cycle is shorter and an operator finishes more belt loops, pockets and flies per hour.
Control box in the head
The panel sits beside the needle, the table stays clear
Juki has built the control box into the machine head and fitted the upright LCD panel on the side of the head, where the operator sees it without looking away from the bartack. The panel has a USB port, and an optional NFC terminal shares settings with an Android device running the JUKI Smart App.
On the factory floorSettings move between machines by USB, or by NFC with the optional terminal, so every bartacker on the line sews the same bartack and a style change is loaded, not set by hand.
Green LED marking light
The bartack position shows on the fabric
A green LED marking light, standard on the LK-1900C, shines the bartack position onto the fabric, and the width of the light can be adjusted. Juki notes that some work clamp feet can hide the light.
On the factory floorThe operator sees where the bartack will land before the clamp comes down, so belt loops and pocket corners are placed in one move instead of being nudged into position.
Active tension
Needle thread tension is set on the panel for the start, middle and end of each seam and stored with the pattern, so the same bartack comes back after every style change.
Two-step auto-lifter
A stepping motor lifts the work clamp 14 mm, or 17 mm with reverse-rotation needle-up. A two-step stroke with an intermediate stop, set on the panel, gives the operator time to position the work.
Dry head
The needle bar and thread take-up need no oil. Only the hook gets a minute quantity of clean oil, so oil stays off the fabric.
Also built in: an LED hand light in white, light-bulb colour or both mixed, with five illumination levels and ten dimming levels, correction of the sewing start point, a needle thread grasping device (off at delivery), a bobbin thread counter and 20-200% pattern scaling. Options include a movable eye guard, an NFC terminal and a kit that turns the bartacker into a button sewing machine. Juki also builds the LK-1901C for eyelet buttonhole bartacks, the LK-1902C for attaching belt loops and the LK-1905C with a 60 × 50 mm sewing area. The LK-1900C replaces the Juki LK-1900BN, and we now supply the LK-1900C in its place.

Is the LK-1900C suited to a jeans or trouser factory line?
Yes. Juki rates it at 3,300 stitches a minute with faster thread trimming, so one bartacker keeps up with belt loops, pockets and flies on a line. For denim and heavy cloth order the CH type: Juki has increased its needle penetrating force and fits a DP×17 #21 needle. The CW type adds a 1.8-fold capacity hook, so the operator stops to change the bobbin less often.
Can you equip a whole line, not just the bartacker?
Yes. Tell us what you make and your daily output target. We recommend the machine mix for the line, from lockstitch, overlock and interlock to buttonhole, button sewing and bartacking machines, and can visit your factory for an assessment first.
Which LK-1900C type do I need?
CS for medium-weight fabric such as suit pocket lips, CH for heavy fabric such as the crotch of jeans, CF for foundation garments such as bra straps, and CW, with a 1.8-fold capacity hook, for heavy fabric with fewer bobbin changes. For knits Juki sells a kit that converts the S type to its knit setting. Juki lists no compressed air for any of the four types.
Does the LK-1900C replace the LK-1900BN?
Yes. The LK-1900C replaced the LK-1900BN in 2024, and we now supply the LK-1900C in its place. We still supply spare parts for LK-1900BN machines already working in factories.
Where can I find the LK-1900C manual and error list?
Send us the model and type from your machine's plate on WhatsApp and we send Juki's instruction manual and parts list for that exact machine. If the operation panel shows an error code, send the code with a photo of the panel and our technicians will help. We supply genuine spare parts for the LK-1900C.
