Pegasus compares its D322 and D332 direct drive motors with a clutch motor at 4,000 stitches a minute, sewing 2 seconds and stopping 2 seconds. On the W600PCH its leaflet shows 65% (D322) and 68% (D332) less electricity. Pegasus also states the motor has no coupling, so it installs quickly.

Choose the W664P when you need one of its specialised subclasses, such as tape binding, elastic lace or elastic rings into waists. For cuffs and children's wear, look at the W264P small cylinder bed instead.
