Pegasus's current safety stitch machine: a chainstitch seam and an overedge sewn side by side in one pass, for woven seams that take strain. The direct drive motor, control box and panel are built into the head, and the 2-needle builds run at up to 6,500 stitches a minute.

What it is
The safety stitch model of Pegasus's M900neo series: a 2-needle 5-thread seam (stitch type 516) that sews a double chainstitch beside a 3-thread overedge, with a DP22 or DP32 direct drive motor in the head. The -355 adds a third needle for 6 threads.
Who it's for
Uniform, workwear, jeans and shirt factories in the UAE, GCC and Africa that close woven seams on trousers, jackets and shirts.
Why this model
Choose it over the 4-thread M952 when the seam carries strain and the fabric frays: the chainstitch holds the seam and the overedge finishes the edge in the same operation. The -86 and -86H are Pegasus's jeans builds.
Setting up a factory line with the M932
On a trouser or uniform line the M932 closes side seams, inseams and seat seams, beside lockstitch machines for pockets and topstitching. We quote it by the line with the M952 overlock for edge neatening and knit seams.

What the M932 does on a factory floor

516 safety stitch
Seam and edge finish in one pass
Pegasus builds the M932-A-38, -44 and -70 for plain seaming of medium fabric at 6,500 sti/min with the DP22 or DP32 motor: two needles, five threads, 3 or 5 mm needle space and 4 or 5 mm overedge. The -86 and -86H have a caterpillar foot for jeans, a 6 mm overedge and up to 7 mm foot lift.
On the factory floorThe 516 safety stitch sews the seam and finishes the edge in one pass, so one operator does both, with no separate overlock step.

KH vacuum chain cutter
Chains cut flat behind the needle plate
The M932-A/DP22 is built with the KH8A device, Pegasus's flat type vacuum thread chain cutter, with the suction inlet set horizontally behind the needle plate. The DP32 builds come as KH8D, KH8E with the SC needle thread releasing device, or AT8G with the automatic tape cutter.
On the factory floorThe vacuum cutter cuts each thread chain behind the needle plate and sucks it away, so the floor around the line stays clean.

DP32 air saving
Air only before and after the seam
On the DP32, air for the devices comes on before sewing, stops while the machine sews and comes on again after the fabric passes. Pegasus states this lowers overall air consumption and the energy costs of the whole factory.
On the factory floorBecause the DP32 uses air only before and after each seam, a line of these machines draws less air and the factory spends less on energy.
3-needle -355
3 needles, 6 threads, 3+2 mm needle space; Pegasus lists it for 401, 401+514, 516, 514 and 504.
Shirring builds
-48 for shirring and -48P2 for shirring with piping, at 5,500 and 5,000 sti/min.
U-shaped tape
-551 attaches U-shaped tape with 3 needles and 5+2.5 mm needle space.
DP32 builds add three safety sensors, dual fabric sensors with automatic foot lift and thread trimming, a two-tone LED and voice guidance in eight languages. The KH8A build on the DP22 includes Pegasus's PL presser foot lifter and LC pneumatic lint collector.

Questions about the Pegasus M932
Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp. We usually reply within one working day.
Ask on WhatsAppIs the Pegasus M932 the same as the M900?
The M932 is the safety stitch model of Pegasus's M900 family. Pegasus's current line-up lists it in the M900neo series as the M932-A, built with the DP22 or DP32 motor. The M932-38-3X4 with the KH9A and DJ10 panel that we quoted before is an earlier M900 version. Our 2026 quotation code M932-A-355-3X2X4/KH8A/DP22 is the 3-needle build with 3+2 mm needle space, 4 mm overedge and the KH8A chain cutter.
What is the price of the Pegasus M932 in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?
It depends on the subclass and gauge, the devices fitted, the quantity, the table and stand, and where it is delivered. For a factory line we quote all the machines together. Send your city and quantity on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form and we reply with the AED price and delivery time, usually within one working day.
What is the price of the Pegasus M932 in Nigeria, Ghana or Kenya?
We quote it delivered to your city, such as Lagos, Accra or Nairobi, so the price depends on the subclass, the quantity, the table and stand, and shipping. Send your city and quantity on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form and we reply with the price and delivery time, usually within one working day.
Is the M932 suited to a uniform or workwear line?
Yes. A safety stitch is the usual seam for side seams and inseams on woven uniforms, trousers, shirts and workwear, because the chainstitch takes the strain and the overedge stops fraying. Pegasus builds the M932-A-38, -44 and -70 for medium fabric and the -86 and -86H with a caterpillar foot for jeans.
Can you equip a whole line, not just this machine?
Yes. Tell us what you make and your daily output target. We recommend the machine mix for the line, from lockstitch to overlock, safety stitch, coverstitch and special machines, and can visit your factory for an assessment first.
Safety stitch or overlock: which do I need?
Use the 5-thread M932 to close woven seams that take strain, such as trousers, jackets and shirts. Use the 4-thread M952 overlock, the machine Ghana calls a neating machine, to seam knits, where the overlock seam stretches with the fabric, and the 3-thread M952-A-17 to neaten edges when the seam itself is sewn on a lockstitch.
Can the M932 be set for knits and for wovens?
Yes. The presser arm shaft has two positions. Pegasus states the upper position gives better feeding efficiency for knit fabric and the lower position helps prevent puckering on woven fabric. The factory setting depends on the subclass, and moving it needs an optional shaft that we can supply.
Can you supply the manual, parts book and genuine parts for the Pegasus M932?
Pegasus publishes the instruction manual and parts list for the M900neo series in its online catalogue, and we quote genuine Pegasus parts by part number, from loopers and knives to needle plates and feed dogs. Send the code on the machine's plate, or a photo of it, on WhatsApp and we find the part.
Do you deliver, install and train our operators?
Yes. We deliver across the UAE, the GCC and Africa, to cities such as Riyadh, Lagos, Accra and Nairobi, install every machine at your factory and train your operators and mechanics. After that we support you with genuine spare parts and annual maintenance contracts.
Can I see the M932 working before I buy?
Book a meeting at our showroom in Industrial Area 4, Sharjah, and bring samples of your fabric and the seam you need. Tell us the subclass you are considering when you book, and we confirm before your visit what we can show you and how we test your fabric.
