What it is
The overlock model of Pegasus's M900neo series, released in October 2025. Every M952-A has a DP22 or DP32 direct drive motor, control box and operation panel built into the head, in 1-needle 3-thread and 2-needle 4-thread subclasses.
Who it's for
Garment, uniform, T-shirt and polo shirt lines in the UAE, GCC and Africa that seam knits, neaten woven edges or attach tape, and want machines that sew without a separate motor to fit under the table.

Setting up a factory line with the M952
On a T-shirt or polo line the 2-needle M952-A-52 or -52H sews shoulder, side and sleeve seams. On a uniform or shirt line the 1-needle M952-A-17 neatens edges before the lockstitch seam. We quote them by the line, with the M932 safety stitch where woven seams need it.

What the M952 does on a factory floor
Built-in DP22 or DP32 motor
Ready to sew out of the box
Pegasus builds the direct drive motor, control box and operation panel into the M900neo head and states that setup time and effort are greatly reduced, with no setup needed for the motor and other devices. Pegasus also states the series complies with EU standards.
On the factory floorThe motor, control box and panel are built into the head, so mechanics set up a new line without fitting a motor or control box under each table.
DP32 safety sensors
The machine will not run with a guard open
On the DP32, three sensors stop the machine when the eye guard is lifted, the side cover is not closed or the presser arm is out of position, and the panel shows an error code. Dual fabric sensors work the presser foot automatically when they detect fabric and cut the threads after it passes.
On the factory floorThe DP32 stops when a guard or cover is open and trims the threads once the fabric passes, so operators cannot sew unguarded and need no scissors.

Thread chains cut and sucked away
The M952-A/DP22 is built with the KS8A device, Pegasus's vertical type vacuum thread chain cutter, with the suction inlet set vertical to the needle plate. The DP32 builds come as KS8D, KS8E with the SC needle thread releasing device, or AT8G with the automatic tape cutter.
On the factory floorThe vacuum cutter cuts each thread chain and sucks it away, so chains never reach the floor and the operator moves straight to the next panel.
Oil stain protection
Pegasus designs the M900neo to block oil stains and protect sewn products from oil.
LED light
Lights the needle drop point: two colour tones and five brightness levels on the DP32, one tone on the DP22.
Voice guidance
DP32 panels speak English, Chinese, Turkish, Spanish, Bengali, Vietnamese, Portuguese and Indonesian.
Also on the M900neo: a USB port on the panel, air saving on the DP32 (air only before and after sewing), and Pegasus's PL presser foot lifter and LC pneumatic lint collector, standard on the KS8A build and the DP32 KS8D and KS8E builds.

The M952 is the overlock model of Pegasus's M900 family. Pegasus's current line-up lists it in the M900neo series as the M952-A, built with the DP22 or DP32 motor. The M952 builds we quoted before, such as the M952-17 with the DJ10 panel or the M952-52H with the D222 motor, are earlier M900 versions. People also write M 952, M952-52H or M900neo; the M932 is the safety stitch model of the same series. Pegasus ended production of the M700 in December 2013 and the M800 in December 2014; in Ghana an overlock like the M952 is often called a neating machine.

Is the M952 suited to a T-shirt or uniform line?
Yes. Pegasus builds the 2-needle M952-A-52 and -52H for plain seaming with a presser foot for attaching tape, which covers shoulder, side and sleeve seams on T-shirts and polo shirts. The 1-needle M952-A-17 neatens edges on uniforms, shirts and workwear before the lockstitch seam. We supply them by the line with tables, stands and installation.

DP22 or DP32: which should I choose?
Pegasus calls the DP22 the basic function type: a direct drive motor with a standard panel. The DP32 is the multi-function type with presser foot lift, thread trimming and air saving, three safety sensors, dual fabric sensors, the two-tone LED and voice guidance in eight languages. Lines with new operators or many trims per garment get most from the DP32.
Which M952 subclass do I need?
For knit seams and tape, the M952-A-52 (light to medium, 3 to 5 mm overedge) or the -52H (medium to heavy, 4 or 5 mm). For edge neatening, the 1-needle -17 with 4 mm overedge. For turn down hemming of light fabric, the -16S2 with 1.5 mm overedge. The -23B takes extra heavy fabric. Send us a sample and we confirm the subclass and gauge.
