What it is
A computerised overlock with a voice guide and three working modes: fully automatic, where sensors run the machine without the pedal; semi-automatic, with automatic foot lift and thread trimming; and manual. Jack builds it from 3 to 6 threads.
Who it's for
T-shirt, polo, knitwear and uniform lines in the UAE, the GCC and Africa, from Nigeria and Ghana to Kenya, that sew long runs of overlock seams and want new operators productive quickly.
Why this model
Pick it over the Jack E4S for output: in Jack's own test the same seam took 3.45 seconds on the C4 and 4.89 seconds on the E4S. Pick the C7 Urus instead if the seams cross thick joints all day.

What the C4 does on a factory floor

Three working modes
Runs without the pedal
In fully automatic mode the C4 starts and stops from its sensors, with no pedal. Semi-automatic mode adds automatic presser foot lift and thread trimming, and manual mode follows the operator. Jack rates it at 7,000 stitches a minute.
On the factory floorBecause the C4 starts and stops from its sensors in automatic mode, the operator needs no pedal and keeps both hands on the garment.

Voice guide
The machine tells the operator what is wrong
When there is a fault, such as an open presser foot, the C4 sounds an alarm and announces the fault and how to clear it. Jack's C4 video shows the voice guide in nine languages, Arabic and English among them.
On the factory floorBecause the C4 announces each fault and how to clear it, operators can deal with small faults themselves instead of waiting for the mechanic.

Fabric sensing
Sensors that cope with light and fabric changes
Jack's anti-blindness system and anti-wear sensor recognise changes in the light and in the fabric by themselves, with no need to go into the machine's settings.
On the factory floorBecause the sensors adjust to changes in light and fabric by themselves, operators do not go into the settings when daylight or the fabric changes.
Short thread tails
Automatic trimming leaves short tails. Jack's example: a T-shirt with 7 thread ends to trim by hand has 3 or 4 with the C4.
Through-shaft drive
One through shaft instead of two coupled shafts lowers the machine's torque, for steady running at speed.
One-key reset
One key returns the C4 to the operator's own settings or to factory settings after a wrong setting.
Also built in: an enclosed needle bar and oil supply against oil leaks, an LED sewing light and a USB port.

Questions about the Jack C4
Anything else, ask us on WhatsApp. We usually reply within one working day.
Ask on WhatsAppIs the Jack C4 the same as the C4-4-M03/333?
Yes. C4 is the series, and C4-4-M03/333 is its 2-needle, 4-thread basic-seam version, the one most garment lines order. Jack also builds 3, 5 and 6-thread C4 versions, a heavy fabric version (H/M), an adjustable edge-width version (AD) and denim versions.
What is the price of the Jack C4 in the UAE?
It depends on the quantity, the table and stand, and where it is delivered. For a factory line we quote all the machines together. Send your city and quantity on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form and we reply with the AED price and delivery time, usually within one working day.
What is the price of the Jack C4 in Nigeria, Ghana or Kenya?
It depends on the version, the quantity, the table and stand, and delivery to your city. Send us those on WhatsApp and we reply with one quotation in AED covering the machines, delivery to your factory and installation, usually within one working day.
Is the C4 suited to a factory production line?
Yes. It runs at up to 7,000 stitches a minute, can work without the pedal, lifts its foot and trims its thread by itself, and tells the operator how to clear faults. We supply it by the line, with tables, stands, installation and operator training.
Can you equip a whole line, not just this machine?
Yes. Tell us what you make and your daily output target. We recommend the machine mix for the line, from lockstitch to overlock, interlock and special machines, and can visit your factory for an assessment first.
How is the C4 different from the Jack E4S?
The E4S is run from the pedal and changes fabric setting with a light, medium and heavy lever. The C4 adds automatic foot lift, automatic trimming, a pedal-free automatic mode and a voice guide, and runs at up to 7,000 stitches a minute against 5,500 on the E4S. In Jack's own test the same seam took 3.45 seconds on the C4 and 4.89 seconds on the E4S.
Does the voice guide speak Arabic?
Jack's C4 video shows the voice guide in nine languages, Arabic, English, Russian, Turkish, Portuguese, Spanish and Indonesian among them. Ask us which languages come with the machines in your order.
Do you deliver the Jack C4 to Lagos, Accra, Nairobi, Riyadh, Cotonou and Lomé, and train our operators?
Yes. We ship from Sharjah to the UAE, the GCC and Africa, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Benin and Togo, and we have an office in Accra. We install every machine at your factory and train your operators. After that we support you with genuine spare parts and annual maintenance contracts.
What do the error codes on the Jack C4 mean, and can you send the manual?
The C4 shows the code on its panel, and the voice guide announces the fault and how to clear it. We can also send Jack's instruction manual and parts list for your exact version on WhatsApp, and we supply spare parts.
Can I see the C4 working before I buy?
Yes. Book a demo at our showroom in Industrial Area 4, Sharjah, and bring your own garment panels to test.
