Kansai DFB-1404PMD 4-needle, flatbed, double chainstitch machine, specialised for attaching elastic.

The DFB series are flatbed, multi-needle double chainstitch machines using a vertical-movement looper system. A variety of gauges is available, selectable according to the operation. The machine is multi-purpose. It handles attaching elastic, attaching waistbands, sewing shirt fronts, attaching line tapes, smocking and shirring for underwear, sportswear, ladies’ wear and interior goods.
