The Jin M-1 Series edges and seams woven and knit garments. Juki publishes the series in one needle overlock, two needle overlock and safety stitch builds, so one platform covers edging, seaming and the combined safety stitch operation. The servomotor sits in the machine head, and the control box and operation panel are built into the head as well.
Juki states that the SF type carries a three point sensor thread trimmer to keep the knife away from the cloth, and that the AE type uses a two point sensor. Juki also lists an adjustable LED hand light, a chain off thread trimmer, an automatic presser foot lifter, voice guidance and a USB connector for software updates as standard on the series.
