The Jin lockstitch with digital feed control, an automatic thread trimmer and an automatic presser foot lifter.

Juki describes the L-1D as a direct drive high speed single needle lockstitch machine with digital feed control, built with a digital feed control motor alongside the direct drive servomotor. Feed settings are held in the panel rather than on a mechanical dial.

Juki states that the machine has a needle bar stroke of 33 mm, that an automatic presser foot lifter is fitted with a knee lifter as standard equipment, and that two buttons on the head handle reverse stitch and half stitch correction. Juki also lists an LED hand light adjustable across five levels, voice guidance and a USB port as standard on the series.
