A direct drive single needle lockstitch machine for general runstitching.

The Jin L-1 is the plain lockstitch in the Jin range. The servomotor is built into the machine head, so there is no V belt to tension or replace. Juki publishes a medium weight build and a heavy weight build, so the same machine covers lighter garment work through to heavier fabric.

Juki states that the operation panel and the control box are integrated with the machine head, that the panel sets the needle stop position and the maximum sewing speed, and that an LED hand light under the arm jaw and a USB port are standard across the L-1 series.
